1-2-3 Snack Meatballs

I found this recipe in one of those delightful compilation cookbooks. I think that it was from the LaCrosse area Community Credit Unions book - but I'm not 100% sure. These sure are easy and good! I use my OXO 1" ice cream scooper to make quick work of shaping the meatballs!


1 ½ lbs ground beef
2/3 cup evaporated milk
1 pkg onion soup mix
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. Catchup
1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce

Mix beef, milk and soup mix. Roll into balls. Put on a cookie sheet and freeze 5-8 minutes. If you are making ahead of time, remove from freezer and store in a freezer bag. If not making ahead of time, broil for 8 minutes, turning at half way point until golden brown. Mix brown sugar, catchup and Worcestershire sauce. Add meatballs and warm through.
