Oreo cheesecake bars

My friend Jen shared this with me just last week!

Ingredients:
24 Oreo cookies, crushed
2 tbsp. butter, softened
3 8-0z. packages cream cheese, softened
1 14-oz. can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 1-oz. squares semisweet chocolate

Directions:
Preheat the oven to 300 degrees and lightly butter a 13 X 9 X 2-inch pan.

Combine crushed cookies and butter, then press into the bottom of the prepared pan.

Beat cream cheese until fluffy, using a handheld mixer.

Gradually add in the Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk.

Finally, add the eggs and vanilla. Mix well.

Pour two-thirds of the batter onto the crust.

Melt the chocolate and add it to the remaining batter. Spoon this over the top of the first layer.

Bake for approximately 45 minutes or until set.

Chill. Cut into bars. Store in refrigerator.

Makes 16 to 20 bars.
