Here are a few of our favorite recipes. These are recipes that I have picked up during my 30 plus years of cooking and baking and tend to make again and again.
Aunt Sarah
(Recipes submitted: Barbecue, Hamburger Dip, Carmel Corn, Lemon Bars and Cranberry Jell-O Salad)
2 C. sugar
2 Tbsp. butter
1 C. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 C. peanut butter
Boil sugar, milk and salt for 10 minutes. Add butter. Continue boiling until mixture forms a soft ball in cold water. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and peanut butter. Beat until mixture starts to set. Pour quickly into 9x9 buttered pan. Cut into squares when cool.
