Easy Banana Bread

If you are like me and buy a bunch of bananas with the best intentions to eat them but don't--here is a great recipe for those last three bananas that are getting brown. I made this recipe yesterday and it took about four minutes to mix it together and an hour to bake. It is delicious! Jacob is currently on his second piece of "bwead' and is not sharing with the dog for once :) As with all my recipes, there is a little flexibility for mix-ins--one recommendation called for chocolate chips, another for blueberries. I added a little cinnamon, nutmet and vanilla as noted in the ingredients. Enjoy!
Ingredients
1-3/4 cups flour
1-1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
2/3 cup butter/margarine, softened
2/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 large eggs
1 cup mashed ripened bananas
2/3 cup chopped walnuts

* 1/2 tsp cinnamon
* 1/4 tsp nutmeg
* 1/2 tsp vanilla

Directions
Blend everything in a mixer and bake at 350 degree for an hour in a 10×4 pan.
