Broccoli Chowder

This easy "meal ticket" was in my latest issue of Weight Watchers Magazine (Jan/Feb 2012).  We made it tonight and it was great!  We tripled it for the whole family, but the recipe below is for one serving - 1 3/4 cups and 5 Points Plus.

Heat 1 tsp oil  in a saucepan.  Add 1/3 cup chopped onion, 1/3 cup frozen chopped broccoli, 1 tsp minced garlic and 1/4 tsp thyme.  Cook 4 minutes.  Add 1/2 cup chicken broth, 1/3 cup cream-style corn and 1/4 cup milk.  Bring to a simmer.

Excellent - I also added salt and pepper.  It was nice and creamy, and the creamed corn gave it great texture.
